A Bit About Me: Isabella
Isabella Emma Moon Eagle McClellan
This page and my self description are always evolving...
I have been formally studying Goddess Shamanism since the late 1990's, while my practice started in childhood (the early 80's!). I spent my formative years running through the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee, the Carolina's deep auburn fall leaves, upstate New York's Bear Mountain filled with blue slate stone, our own beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountain Range where the humming bird roams free, and the awe-inspiring Redwood Forests of California/Oregon. I was a day-dreamer who whispered with the flowers, spoke to the trees, and sent messages on the wind.
One of my favorite childhood stories is how I grew up "hippy-style" in my dad's little brown Toyota Corolla traveling the USA. We spent a lot of time living on our family farm in Scotts Bluff, Nebraska when my brother and I were just toddlers with Grandma, Grandpa, cousins, aunts and uncles. Oh! The Stories!
In the back of that Corolla we travelled to almost every one of the 50 states, until we needed a more permanent lodging for me to attend school. This is when we settled into Upper Nyack, New York living in my grandparent's basement, until we eventually found our way to the shores of SW Florida. This is where my relationship with the ocean and all her creatures began. Sitting out under the new and full moons on the ocean beaches in my early 20's listening to the whales sing; back when you could still hear such a thing from the shore. All that beautiful healthy White Sand and Seashells under foot, with salt and ocean spray, listening to windchimes all year long.
